Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 4th, 2016 at Corner Brook Long Term Care, Augustus Bernard (Gus) LeDrew at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Shirley; daughter Sheila (Rod); sons: Tony, Bill (Rita) and Jason (Tracy); grandchildren: Emilee, Kabil, Nicolas, T'anna, Brayden, Shelby, Will and Matthew; brothers: Bill (Edith), Jerry (Anita), Paul (Joan), Leonard (Judy), and Joe; sister: Grace (Rufus); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Tony and Helen; and brothers John and Michael. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday December 7 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. The funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 8th at 10:30 am from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue with Father Ed Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery.
