We, the family of the late Leora “Tootie” Keeling, would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who provided friendship and support during our recent loss. For all those who attended visitations both at the funeral home and the funeral mass, we especially appreciated the stories and kind words shared with us about Mom. More than once, we heard the comment, “She was my favorite teacher!” We all knew Mom was a very special lady, we just didn’t realize how many others thought the same thing. She also would have been pleased to know so many special people in her life travelled great distances to express their final farewells. We wish to express our deep appreciation to Father Vern Boutilier, Father Jim Oliver and Deacon Greg Murphy for providing comfort and inspiration during her funeral mass. To the choir of Holy Family Parish and organist David Murray, our heartfelt thanks for sharing your gift of music. Mom would have been so proud to know, her favorite people, her grandchildren, participated in her funeral mass. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown by our family, friends and neighbors; your gifts of food, flowers, cards, phone calls, charitable donations and visitations touched us deeply. Thank you to Holy Family CWL for providing a wonderful lunch and reception after the funeral. The compassion and professionalism shown by Manning Jobes and the staff of J.M. Jobes Funeral Home were exemplary. The many acts of kindness and support received during our time of sorrow continue to be of great comfort to us all.
