NEIL "JEROME" GILLIS
Card of Thanks
We, the family of the late Neil “Jerome” Gillis, wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all those family and friends who shared their love, sympathy and support during our recent loss. To those who called, sent food, sympathy and mass cards, online condolences, flowers, travelled or made donations in Jerome’s memory, we are eternally grateful. To the medical, nursing and support staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and Inverness Hospital for the care and compassion shown, we thank you all. Our thanks to Father MacDow and Father Vincent for a funeral mass Jerome would have been proud to say was his. We also offer our thanks to the members of the Port Hood Knights of Columbus. To the many officers and friends of the Cape Breton Regional Police Services, both active and retired, your participation showed how well respected a man Jerome was. We would also like to thank the staff of the Sunset Funeral Home for their kindness and professionalism. To the readers, St. Joseph’s choir, vocalist: Ronald Mackenzie, fiddler: Rodney MacDonald, pallbearers and the ladies who served the lunch after the service, we are thankful forevermore.
Sincerely,
The Gillis and Cameron Families
