John "Jack" REID
Our beloved companion, father, brother and grandfather, John Ross “Jack” Reid, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at home.
Born November 10, 1935, in Hamilton, Ont., Jack was a son of the late John and Eileen Reid. For 30 years, Jack worked at Canadian Tire, retiring in 1997. He was an avid dart player and a lifelong member of the Radar Base. Jack is survived by his loving companion and lifelong partner, Arlene MacKenzie; daughter, Shelley (Derick Honig) MacKenzie, Halifax; sister, Arlene (Ross) Anderson, Westmount; brothers, Gordon (his twin), Eastern Passage, Roger (Pauline), Sydney and Philip (Ann Munro), Halifax; grandchildren, Hannah and Christian Honig.
He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald and sister-in-law, Barbara.
