Passed peacefully with her family by her side Geraldine Cox, Friday, December 16, 2016 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons: Jim (Florence) of Summerside, Shawn (Fay) of Mississauga, daughters: Margaret (Quincy Park), Judy (Bill Crane) Cox's Cove; grandchildren: Ian (Lindsey), Shane (Kayla), James (Kayla), Justin (Kayla), Jordan (Leanne), Jaiden, Shawn Jr. (Amanda), Shelly, special grandson: Jonathan (Mandy),and Cheyanne (Craig); great-grandchildren: Nicole, James Jr., Dawson, Kellan, Jakob, Oliver, Ayden, Kohen, Marshall, Brayden, Brooklyn, and Brenna; sisters: Lillian Abbott, Julie Osbourne; brothers-in-law: Ralph (Jean) Cox, Luke Cox, and Dave Park; sisters-in-law: Amy Murrin, Clara House and Josie Cox; home care workers: Denise Payne, and Lisa Osbourne. She was predeceased by her husband Walter in 2011; parents: Norman and Ann Park; grandson Stephen; daughter-in-law Nancy; parents-in-law: George and Margaret Cox; sisters: Mildred, Hilda, Glorina, and Jean; brothers: Utley, Alfred, and Raymond; brother-in-law Bill; sisters-in-law: Martha, Edna, Eileen and Alfreda. Visitation will take place from St. Nicholas Anglican Church in Cox's Cove on Sunday, and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 2 PM with Reverend Charlene Laing officiating. Interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery Cox's Cove. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to St. Nicholas Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
