Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Saturday, December 17, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer, Mary (Mollie) O'Brien, age 72. Predeceased by her husband Joseph O'Brien, parents George and Elizabeth Scott, sister Dorothy Everard, brothers John Scott, Gerard Scott and Crosbie Scott, brothers-in-law Eric Williams and John Everard. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughter Michelle (Harvey) Antle, son Gerard (Kelly) O'Brien, grandchildren Bethanne, Amanda, Morgan and Riley, great-granddaughter Emily, sisters Rosemary Williams, Betty (Edward Power), brother Georgie Scott, brother-in-law Dermot O'Brien, sisters-in-law Marg Scott, Barb Scott, Mary Newell and Carry Ryall, special niece Karen Everard, and dear friend Nellie Jones. Also many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to her homecare workers Pearl and Louise, the Community Health Nurse, Penny for taking such good care of Mom during her illness and to the Palliative Care team for all their care and support. Gone but always in our hearts. Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Inurnment to follow at R.C. Cemetery, Kilbride. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
