We, the family of the late Hal Dornadic, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during this difficult time. To those who sent cards, donations, food, memorials and visited at the hospital and at home your kindness was greatly appreciated. Your presence at the funeral home for the visitation and service was a testament of how much Hal was loved and respected among friends, family and the community at large. Special thanks to the nurse, doctors and volunteers in the An Cala Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. You treated Hal’s last days with dignity and respect and we are forever grateful. Thanks to Chant’s Funeral Home for their professionalism, kindness and efficiency. To Rev. Stephen Mills thank you for leading the service of remembrance. A special thanks to Hal’s musical friends for their beautiful renditions of his favorite tunes, we know he was rocking along with you. A special thank to Jody Oakley and the Dobson Yacht Club for the wonderful reception following the funeral. Also, thank you to everyone who attended the benefit dance in Hal’s honour.
Your love and support during this difficult time helped ease the pain of our great loss. We will never forget your kindness.
