Clara MacKinnon, 68, of St. Margaret's Village.
It's with deep sadness we announce the passing of Clara on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Buchanan Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Clara was born April 10, 1948 in Black Point. She was the eldest daughter of the late Pea and May MacKinnon. Clara enjoyed spending time with her grand kids and watching her stories (Coronation Street). She dedicated many years of work to the Highland Manor.
Clara is survived by her husband Hughie, her children Georgina (Bruce), Tommy, Don (Francine), Hughina (James), Chris (Amanda), Isabel (Bradley), Corrine (Cole), Willie-Jean (Bradley), Richard (Tanya), Alanna (Kevin). Also by her pride and joys her 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. By her 8 sisters and 4 brothers and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Tommy and Danny and her sister Lillian.
Visitation will be Monday, December 26 from 11 am to 4 pm at her son Chris's home in Bay St. Lawrence. Cremation has taken place under the care of Fillmore and Whitman.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Buchanan Memorial Hospital or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation . The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Buchanan Memorial and Dr. Buffet for all their kindness in this heartbreaking time.
