It is with sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Wendy Michelle MacLean, 41, Plaster Mines Rd on December 19, 2016 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Gwynn and Mora Ann MacLean. Surviving are brothers, Lennus (Debbie), Allan (Linda), Jason (Nora) and sister, Kim. She was predeceased by her father, Clifford Gwynn; her brother, Dereck and the love of her life, Jackie MacRae. A Celebration of the Lives of Wendy MacLean and Jackie MacRae will be held at the Baddeck Community Hall on Friday December 23, 2016 at 10 a.m. with Rev Brian Macleod officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
