Florence ‘Baby’ Marie Patles, age 73 passed away on December 23, 2016 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born June 9, 1943 in Eskasoni she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Madeline (Gould) Morris.
She is survived by her seven children, Weldon (Tammy), Winston (Elizabeth), Wanda, Darlene, Suzanne, Matrix and Justice; brothers, Wayne, Anthony and Keith; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Patles; brother, Norman Morris and sisters, Bernadette and Irene. Visitation will begin 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 29 at the Gabriel Centre, Eskasoni. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. on December 31 at Holy Family Church, Eskasoni, with Rev. Martin MacDougall officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
