Meade, Ernest John - 82, of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully around family at the Shannex Orchard Court in Kentville, Nova Scotia on December 29, 2016. Born September 4, 1934 in Fox Roost, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late George and Lucy (Walters) Meade. He is survived by his wife Marie Romelda (Brideau) Meade, daughter, Michele Meade; grandchildren Blake, Megan, and many nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his family of 11 siblings. He is fondly remembered for his love of playing musical instruments such as guitar and mandolin. He also loved yodeling and singing and making up stories to make people laugh. He was always there to help anyone in need. Visitation was on Friday December 30 from 7-9 at the H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home in Shelburne. Funeral service took place Saturday Dec. 31st
