Passed away at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, ON on Monday, January 2, 2017. Edward was born 74 years ago in Renews, NL, a son of the late Michael Reddy and former Edith Berrigan. Loving husband of Elaine Reddy of Baden, ON. Loving father of Michael Reddy (Jeannie) of Goulds, NF, and step-father of Karen Buhlman (Chris) of Baden, ON. He was predeceased by an infant son. Dear brother of Michael Reddy (Ivy) of St. Lawrence, NL, Lucy Newhook (Jerry) of Paradise, NL and Winifred Sturge (late Eric) of Gambo, NL. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Michael and Kathleen and step-grandchild Emma. Edward worked for many years as a police officer with the Ontario Provincial Police. At his request, there will be no visitation or formal funeral service. Cremation will take place and the ashes will be interred in Newfoundland later this year. A celebration of his life will take place at that time and further information will be available. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Salvation Army would be appreciated.
