CHETWYND, Clarsie “Irene” – 92, of Baccaro, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth. Born April 11, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Mitchell Ross and Lula (Muise). Irene greatly enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and going for drives to look for deer. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her children, Myrtle (Edward) Cameron, Lillian Ross, Leslie Chetwynd; grandchildren, Winston Cameron, Patsy Cameron, Norma Chetwynd, Gregory White, Vincent White, Doris Chetwynd, Robert Chetwynd; great-grandchildren, Wade Cameron, Cole Townsend, Kasey Townsend, Tyler Chetwynd, Andrew Chetwynd; great-great grandchildren, Madi and Marley Chetwynd; daughter-in-law, Heather Poole; and extended family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, William Chetwynd; and several of her extended family members. There was a visitation held Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. The funeral service took place Wednesday, January 11, 2 p.m. in the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, with Pastor Brad Pass officiating. Interment followed in the Woodside Cemetery, Port La Tour. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
