Passed peacefully away while surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the Health Science Centre, Michael Bonia, of St. Mary's, aged 78 years. Predeceased by parents Peter & Frances Bonia, brother Albert and sisters: Theresa Stamp, Mary Walsh, Roseann Hilliard, Margaret Marsh and Emma Tobin. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Irene (nee White), two daughters Gail (Scott) Kielly and Glenda (Shaun Marshall); precious grandchildren: Makaela, Jacob, Megan and Abbie, sisters Betty (Kenneth) and Rita (Eugene - deceased), mother-in-law Mary White, special nephew Robert Gibbons and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including special friend Juliette "Sis" Lee. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Wednesday, January 18, from 2 - 4pm; 7 - 9pm (No Visitation on Thursday). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 19, at 10am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Burial to follow.
