JUNE CYR

Card of Thanks
June Cyr
We, the family of the Late June Cyr wish to express our sincere thanks to all of our family, friends and neighbours in our time of sorrow.
Many thanks for those who visited, phoned, sent flowers, food, sympathy cards and charitable donations; your kindness was greatly appreciated. Thank you also to Phillip McNeil who did a beautiful tribute to our mother on the radio.
A very special thank you to all of you who attended the wake and funeral service and for those of you who could not attend, we know she was in your prayers.
Thank you to the wonderful Doctors, Nurses, and all of the staff at Glace Bay General Hospital for taking such good care of June. We want to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff on 4 North who truly loved our mother and treated her with such dignity and respect. We would also like to thank both Jill Murphy and Carol MacNeil who gave my mother the gift of music, something she looked forward to each time they came.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Helen MacNeil and her wonderful family who came in to our Mother’s life when she needed a miracle and that is what they were.
We wish to thank Rev. Duncan Roach who performed such a wonderful service, Jimmy McNeil who played such beautiful music, Sheldon Didieu for singing her favourite hymn and Linda Campbell and Gladys Millie for reading at the service. It was all such a fitting tribute to the woman June was and the music she loved.
We are also grateful to the staff of V.J. MacGillivray Funeral Home in Glace Bay for the professionalism and support they gave to our family.
Those we love don’t go away
They walk beside us everyday
Unseen, unheard but always near
Still loved, still missed and very dear

With sincere thanks Kyle and Leah and their families along with the Davidson and Campbell Families
