VIVIAN MARIE HERRITT
June 22, 1942 – January 16, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Herritt announces her passing, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 16 at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre, at the age of 74 years. Born in Port aux Basques, Marie was the daughter of the late William and Jessie (nee Osmond) Seymour. She was predeceased by her sister Winifred, mother and father-in-law: Harriett and George Herritt, sisters in law: Emily Cox (Robert), Hilda Seymour, Sarah Seymour and brother-in-law, Maxwell Spicer. Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories, her devoted husband Clyde of 55 years. Proud mother of Marina Parsons (Randy) Port aux Basques, George Herritt (Geraldine) Loch Lomond, Beverly Hardy (Roger) Port aux Basques. She will forever remain in the hearts of her six grandchildren: Darrell (Charlene), Chad (Jennifer), Kerilyn (Greg), Crystal (Andy), Mitchell (Katherine), Mallory, and seven great-grandchildren: Alexander, Ashley, Rachel, Caleb, Colton, Noah, Caleb. She will be sadly missed by her sisters and brothers: Hazel (John) Osmond, Frances (Art) Lomond, Albert (Gladys) Seymour, Wilson Seymour, Norman (Susie) Seymour, Philip Seymour, Isreal Seymour, Marilyn (Wayne) Dominie and sisters in law: Miriam (Les) Strickland, Ethel Spicer, brother in law Clayton (Rita) Herritt and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation took place on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services took place on Wednesday, January 18, 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Grand Bay, officiated by Rev. Harold Harvey. Internment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in memory of Marie can be made to the Dialysis Unit at the Dr. Charles L.
