In the early morning of January 26th, 2017 our beloved Anne Marie gained her wings, leaving us with broken hearts and great sadness.
Anne Marie was born in Neil’s Harbour on April 22, 1950 , she was the daughter of the late Hattie (Wilkie) and Patrick Fitzgerald.
Anne Marie graduated from Cape Breton Business College with a certificate in Medical Secretary and spent forty plus years working at Highland's Medical Clinic where she touched many lives. She will be greatly missed by Dr. Murray and Dr. Buffett and Highland's Medical Clinic staff.
Nanny leaves behind her loving daughter, Kalen; son-in-law, James and her precious grandchildren, Rylan, Jerzi, Kali-Jae and Xavier who were her whole world. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Rita and Helen (Buddy); brothers, Kelly (Peggy), Lloyd, David (Ruby), Addie (Amy), Arlie (Brenda); chosen brothers, John, Paul and Neil MacDonald and best friend, Shaune. Besides her parents Anne Marie was predeceased by, brother, Roy (Marcella); sister-in-laws, Audrey, Lise and Linda; brother-in-law, Marty; special cousin, John Neil MacDonald and nephew, Eddie.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Dingwall with a Funeral Mass to celebrate her life at 2 p.m., with Fr.
