Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, January 27, 2017, of Carl Francis MacDougall, of Charlottetown Veteran of World War II. Born in Tracadie Cross, PE, he was a son of the late Peter and Emma May (nee Fogarty) MacDougall. Carl is survived by his brothers Clarence (June) MacDougall and Leonard MacDougall (Lillian Mitchell); sister Pauline McMaster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife Joyce (nee Tillisley) MacDougall; brothers Benny, Everett, Pat, Martin and Dan, and sister Angelina. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday, then transferred to St. Bonaventure Church, Tracadie Cross, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Bonaventure Parish Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 3 to 6 p.m. Donations in memory of Carl may be made to the PEI Lung Association or the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre.
