To everyone who has supported us following the death of our father, George Jackson, we wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation. Thank you to those who phoned, visited with us, sent food, personal notes, emails, sympathy cards, memorial donations, and attended the service and reception. We would like to thank County Homemakers and VON for the care he received while still at home. Also, the medical staff of ER, CCU, 3B, and Palliative Care Units of Cape Breton Regional Hospital. We are forever grateful to Gordon Brenton for his many visits with dad, both at home and in hospital. To the staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel, your compassion and professionalism was very much appreciated. Our sincere gratitude to Archdeacon Brenda Drake, the organist and choir of St. Alban’s for the beautiful service; to John for the readings and to Gordon Brenton and George Conn for the musical tribute. Very special thanks to Susan, Rita, Nicole, Eileen, Lena, Patricia and Sharon for providing the reception after the service.
