Nancy E. (Hamill) Noel, 44, of South Glastonbury, beloved wife of James P. Noel, died February 3, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born June 2, 1972 in Searle Town, Prince Edward Island, Canada, daughter of Fulton T. and Elizabeth (McCarvill) Hamill, she moved to South Glastonbury in 2000 and later proudly became an American citizen. Nancy was a Registered Nurse, having graduated from P.E.I. School of Nursing. An avid athlete, Nancy once competed in the Boston Marathon. She enjoyed summers with her family on Prince Edward Island and vacationing on Sanibel Island, Florida. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her three adored daughters, Riley, Jaclyn, and Madeline, and her brothers and sisters Michael Hamill, Cathy Hamill, Colleen Peters, Gregory Hamill and Mary Claire Fox. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday Feb.9 at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main Street, Glastonbury, CT. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery, Wethersfield.
