July 31, 1941 - February 1, 2017
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Linda following a brave battle with myeloma. Linda passed peacefully in her Sechelt home in the arms of her children.
Linda was raised in Ottawa, and spent many years in North Vancouver, Calgary and Sechelt. Linda held Bachelors of Education and Masters in Childhood Psychology degrees through UBC. She made many contributions teaching, volunteering and was active in many clubs including CFUW, Elders College, book clubs and bridge. She was an avid athlete and swimmer in the senior Olympics.
Linda is survived by her children Shawn (Carolyn), Steven, Susan (Darren), grandson Victor, granddaughter Jordan, sisters Carol and Barb and many nieces and nephews. Linda lived life to the fullest and touched many lives. She will be dearly missed.
