It is with broken hearts that we the family of Audrey Catherine Tobin (85) announce her passing on the 5th of February 2017. Mom was born in Groves Point to the late Daniel Alexander and Murdena (Morrison) MacLennan. Mom is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Tobin, Sydney River, NS, Shelley Mayhew (Andy), Coldbrook, NS and Lori ‘Sam’ Buckle (Andrew), Quispamsis, NB; daughter-in-law, Karen Tobin, Portage la Prairie, MB and second son, Carter Chiasson, Sydney River, NS; beloved Gramma of, Chad Tobin (Tara), Blake Mayhew (Justine), Colleen Donder (Mike), Raymond, Tommy and Maria Buckle; sisters, Mae Hare, Halifax, NS, Chris Campbell, Ancaster, ON, Sadie Henderson, North Sydney, NS, Joan Wentworth (Bill), Bracebridge, ON, Beattie Jessome (Jimmy), Whitney Pier, NS, Sharon Vokey, Kincardine, ON and Donna Mason (Glen) of Oil Springs, ON; brothers, Bill MacLennan (Thelma), Sandy MacLennan (Sandra) of Dalem Lake, NS and sister-in-law, Edith Leon, Sydney, NS.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Victor Tobin; son, Douglas Patrick Tobin; daughter, Colleen Gail Tobin; brother, Douglas MacLennan and sisters, Catherine MacLennan and Joyce Urquhart.
Mom we will miss you, until we all meet again. Love Ya. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Thursday, 9th February 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Sydney River with Rev. Patrick O'Neil officiating. Reception is to follow at 5 Harriet Street, Sydney River, NS. In memory of Audrey, donations may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 1483 Kings Rd., Sydney River, N.S., B1S 1E6; Attention Cemetery Fund.
