Bernadette, formerly of Reserve Mines, Cape Breton Nova Scotia, passed into eternal rest on Friday, February 3rd 2017 at the age of 87.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, William (1998).
Loved and cherished mother of Joseph (Dorothy), Michael (Linda) and Francis (Connie); grandmother of Jennifer, David, Matthew, Fiona, Clinton, Katherine, Ellen, Ryan, Mallory, Emily, Andrew, Grant and Blake; great-grandmother of Carly, Ben, Fisher, Samara, Makenna, Cohen, Liam.
She was the daughter of the late Philip and Helen (Etienne) Syms.
Predeceased by her brothers, William, Joseph, Gerald, Frederick, Philip, Sheldon and sister, Rita.
Survived by brother, Elmer. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at the MCDOUGALL & BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 2900 Kingston Rd., Toronto, 416-267-4656 on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m.
Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 131 Birchmount Rd., Toronto.
