MURIEL FERGUSON

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Muriel Ferguson on February 6, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in 1924 to the late Ada and Dominique Martell.
Muriel is survived by her son & daughter-in-Law, Leslie and Irene Ferguson and her grandchildren, Jessica Ferguson, Giselle and Jill Robertson; great-grandson, Luke Robertson; son-in-law, Gerry Robertson; sister-in-law, Sandra Martell; nephew, Claude Mombourquette and cousin, Pat Brien.
Muriel was predeceased by husbands, Matthew Ferguson and Edward Baird; daughter, Sharon Robertson; grandson, Eddie Robertson and siblings, Rita Mombourquette and Ralph Martell.
The family would like to thank Doctor Lawand, the palliative care unit for their compassion and kindness, Cape Breton Homemaker staff and most importantly Giselle, Jill and Jessica for making Muriel’s last days as comfortable as possible. Muriel’s remains have been donated to the medical research program at Dalhousie University.
