Passed peacefully away in his home, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 10, 2017, Alvine Mills, aged 73 years. Leaving to mourn, his wife Doris (nee Chislett); son Jim, grandson Marcus and his mother Dianne; daughter Andrea (Hamish Sandeman) and granddaughter Charley Sandeman; aunt Shirley (Fred Wight); uncle Steve Thistle, the Chislett family; as well as extended family and friends. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Visitation will take place on Monday, February 13, from 2-9 pm. Funeral service to be held at George Street United Church on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 2 pm, with reception to follow at the Jimmy Pratt Memorial Outreach Centre.
