Sharpe - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Angela Lynn Sharpe (nee McNeil) of Kingston, NS, at 38 yrs of age. On February 5th, 2017, shortly before 6pm, Angela took her last breath while sleeping peacefully after a five-year long battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer. Angela espoused many virtues such as strength, humbleness, loyalty, caring, friendship and most importantly, compassion. Angela worked for many years supporting adults with challenges in their homes and communities. Just before she received her diagnosis, Angela was accepted to the University of Manitoba, where she was working on her Bachelor Degree in Social Work and earning straight A's. There will be many who will dearly miss Angela. She took solace in the knowledge that her friends and family will be watching her children as they face the world without their loving mother. Angela is survived by her two amazing daughters; Abigail (age 9yrs) and Aynslee (age 6 yrs) both of Kingston, NS as well as her husband Trevor Sharpe (Kingston, NS), her mother Nancy McNeil (Nictaux, NS), sister Crystal McNeil and her partner Steven Sampson (both of Nictaux, NS), and her father Jim McNeil and his wife Anna Maria McNeil and their daughter Samantha, all three of whom live in Germany. She was predeceased by her Maternal Grandmother, Cora Mapplebeck, who she was very close with. Angela leaves behind aunts and uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, Berwick Chapel, 192 Commercial Street Berwick (902-538-9900). We invited people to attend a gathering of friends and family on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, from 5pm-7pm with a service held on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at 2pm, both at the Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home in Berwick. A burial service followed, close friends and family are invited to attend the Tremont Cemetery. Angela asked that, if people so choose, that they donate to a charity of their choice in her name.
