Lillian Sullivan
December 12, 1924 – January 15, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lillian Sullivan on January 15th, 2017. She passed away at home with family there to remind her of how loved she was. Lil was predeceased by her husband Alex (1976), and her daughter Corrlea (2014). She is survived by her son Dan and his wife Ann, daughter Laurie and her husband Rod, and son-in-law Norman. She will be very missed by her grandchildren Buffy, Eric, Carly (Stephen), Erin (John), Ryan (Mandy), Keily (Travis) and her adored 10 great grandchildren. As well, she is survived by her brother Lloyd Allen (Jean) and sister-in-law Eleanor Bishop, many nieces and nephews, and her “adopted” granddaughter Dee (Jeff) and family.
Mom lived in Squamish for nearly 70 years and she loved her home and garden on Garibaldi Way, including all the birds and animals that passed through. She enjoyed many dear friends, especially the church ladies, and her kind neighbours. She loved her family unconditionally, and that included all who came to affectionately call her Mom, Grannie/Aunt Lil or Baba. She left us all with many life lessons, and countless happy memories.
As Mom requested there will be no service. Her family will gather on a sunny day at the beach to celebrate this wonderful woman. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the B.C. Cancer Foundation, or the Squamish Hospital Foundation.
