Passed peacefully on February 23, 2017, Robert Collins, age 74. Predeceased by his Dad and Mom, Robert and Mabel Henderson; and parents-in-law, Chesley and Lorna Snow. Leaving behind his loving wife, Hilda; most beloved grandchildren: Megan, Michael and Beth Howse, Austin Moll, Camden MacKenzie, and Kate and Grace Tucker; his daughters: Debbie, Sherie, Christine and Gail; and sons-in-law: Daryl Howse, Craig Moll, Ken MacKenzie and Terry Tucker. Also, his brother Doug and sister-in-law Linda and their children, Douglas, Heather and Kenneth Collins; his brothers and sisters-in-law: Art & Lorraine Snow, Helen Critch, Alma Snow, Lorna & Frank LeDrew, Sterling & Phyllis Snow, Ruth & John Langmead, Gail & Steve O'Leary and their families; his "adopted daughters" Paula Cooper and Carolyn Kelly (Dan Malinowski); his dearest friends Ruth & Lloyd Gosse and lifelong friend George Wiseman. Bob was rich in his large circle of friends and family. Memorial donations may be made to Rainbow Riders Therapeutic Riding Newfoundland & Labrador Inc. - an organization dear to his heart. Visitation to be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Friday, February 24, from 2:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00pm, at the Salvation Army Mount Pearl Citadel, 106 Ashford Drive. Interment to be held at a later date.
