Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on February 27, 2017, Fred Noseworthy in his 95th year. Predeceased by his wife Frances of 62 years and son-in-law Barron MacDonald. Survived by his daughter Nancy MacDonald; son Robert Noseworthy and his wife Corrie, Richmond, BC; grandchildren John MacDonald, Cochrane, AB, Andrew MacDonald, St. John's NL, Charles Noseworthy, Victoria BC, Michael Noseworthy, Richmond BC, and Alex Noseworthy, Richmond, BC. Long time employee of NFLD Tractor and Equipment Co. In his early days in Grand Falls, he was active in the community and in drama. On returning to St. John's he became active in the Kiwanis Club and the Kiwanis Music Festival. Fred was a long-time member of the Cochrane St. United Church and its choir. He enjoyed Music and the Newfoundland Symphony. Arrangements entrusted to Carnell's Funeral Home. Visitation will take place at a later date.
