The death occurred at Whisperwood Villa on Thursday, March 2, 2017 of Grace Elizabeth Rose McInnis (Callaghan), with her two loving daughters by her side, formerly of Dromore, Cherry Valley and Charlottetown, in her 97th year. Devoted mother of Imelda Callaghan, Hope Praught and Jonathon Cavanaugh (Alyce). She was the wife of the late Thomas Rose and the late Albert McInnis. Cherished grandmother of John, Anne (Ike), Bruce (Darlene), Bernadette, Gloria (Doug), Sean, Erin (Steve), Jonathon Jr. and Ryan. Special great-grandmother of John (Nancy), Derek (Samantha), Kyle (Judi), Rachel (Adam), Jodi (Alex), Grace, Zachary, Alyssa, Noah and Hadley. Beloved great-great-grandmother of Dawson, Emmett, Chloe, Spencer, Blake, Everett and Abigail, Morgan, Denver and Tyler. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by parents, John F. and Bridget A. (Kelly) Callaghan; siblings James (Mary), Dorothy (Earl), Mary T. (Frank), Gertrude (Henry) and Gus (Tena). Grace was the last surviving member of her family. Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visitation on Sunday, March 5 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. St. Patrick’s CWL will have a prayer service at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus on Monday, March 6 at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Patrick’s Parish Cemetery.
