Passed peacefully away at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, Laura Mulrooney of Arnold's Cove, aged 78 years. Predeceased by her husband Peter and daughter Mary Agnes. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Alamenia, Margaret (Rick Thorne), Stella (Jeff Thorne), Ethel (Avalon Stringer), Violet (Jim Hewitt) and Loretta; sons: James, Joe (Veronica), Peter and Michael (Carolyn); sisters: Margaret Grace, Agnes Hickey and Maude Browne; brother Edward Browne; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; special nephew Tom Bennett and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Arnold's Cove. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2008 from Roman Catholic Church, Southern Harbour with interment at Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold's Cove.
