Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family, on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Jerry Corcoran (RNC Lt., Ret.), of Mount Pearl, formerly of Riverhead, St. Mary's Bay, aged 77 years. Predeceased by parents Denis and Anastasia Corcoran; brothers: Simon, George and Harold; sisters: Ita, Lucy, Monica, Theresa and Anna, mother-in-law Florence Lee; brothers-in-law: Steve, Herb, Charles, Henry and Tom and sisters-in-law: Jean, Monnie, Elsie and Amy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, wife of 55 years, Agnes (nee Lee), sons Jerome (Kay) and Ron (Denise), daughters Cathy and Charmaine (Paul); precious grandchildren: Nicole, Chantelle (Chris), Kyle, Chelsea, Alicia, Jerome and Kendelle, extra special great-granddaughter Drew, brothers Phonse and Willie (Ruth), sister-in-law Theresa Corcoran, many special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Gibbons Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Thursday, March 9, from 7 - 9pm and Friday, March 10, 10am - 4pm; 6 - 9pm (No visitation on Saturday). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 11, at 10am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Cemetery, Riverhead.
