Passed Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Shirley Myers of 48 Road, Mount Albion, age 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Ewen Myers and loving mother of Jeannie Shea (Fred), Elizabeth Taylor (Art), Russell Myers (Geraldine), Sandra Holland (George - deceased), Doreen McGuirk (Danny) and Raymond Myers (Pam). Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren - Scott Taylor, Darren Taylor, Shirley Ann Shea, Roxanne Shea, Joseph Shea, Gabriel Myers, Jordan Holland, Jessie Myers, Brett McGuirk, Kyle MacDonald, Jordan MacDonald and Matthew Costain; great grandchildren - Christian, Connor, Shannon, Hannah, Tyler, Jenna, Amira, Kiera, Tara, Kailee and Sadie-Lynn and her siblings - Buck Perry (Dianne), Fred Perry (Evelyn), Emerson Perry (Mary)and Eddie Perry (Shannon). She was predeceased by her parents James and Jessie (nee Betts) Perry, great-grandson, Joshua Shea, 7 brothers and 5 sisters. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Monday, March 13, 2017 from 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Stratford Chapel - Hillsboro Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Interment will take place later at Birch Hill Church of Scotland Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Autism Society of PEI would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
