Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L.A. Miller Center on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Patrick Picco, age 71 years of Paradise, N.L. Predeceased by his parents George and Margaret Picco, Mortier, N.L.; his brother Raymond, Burin, N.L.: and his sister Anne, Toronto, Ont. Leaving to mourn his wife Mary (nee Haire); daughter Susan (Michael Reid), Raleigh, NC, and son Stephen, Paradise, N.L.; and grandchildren: Alicia and Nicholas Reid; sisters: Emily and Mary Picco, Toronto, Ont. and Imelda Zeagman, Toronto, Ont.; brothers: Phillip (Angela), Mortier, N.L., Ron (Fran), Tottenham, Ont., and George (Daisy), Torbay, N.L.; as well as a large circle of family and friends, especially those at the 50+ Club in Paradise. Visitation at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 and Thursday, April 10, 2008 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at Holy Family Parish Church, Paradise, on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road, St. John's, N.L.
