Hughes, Myrtle M. – Age 94, of New Glasgow passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Valley View Villa, Riverton.
Born in Fox River, she was a daughter of the late Archibald and Alice (Crossman) Hughes.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlene (Wayne) MacLean, Irish Mountain; chosen grandchildren, Sandra (Mike) Eis; Steven (Colleen) Linthorne; 4 chosen great grandchildren; special friend, Beth MacDonald; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leo; a daughter, Deborah; sons, Roy, Donald; sisters, Lena, Marjorie, Milda, Elizabeth, Marguerite; brothers, Harland, Otto, Charlie, Clayton, George in infancy.
A graveside committal service will be held at a later date in the Riverbank Cemetery, Port Greville. Memorial donations may be made to Riverbank Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro.
