Davis, Stanley Everett- 86, of Welshtown; It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a husband, brother, father, grandfather, Stan, who passed away March 8, 2017. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 5, 1930, he was a son of the late Samuel B Davis, and Lillie Mae (Corbett) . His parents moved to the family homestead in Welshtown when he and his sisters were very young. He and his wife raised their family in the two family dwelling, along with his parents. He was a self-employed plumber most of his life. In his later years, his passion was working with his tractor and chainsaw, which kept him busy from daylight to dark. His sense of humour was unique to all who knew him. His nicknames to all who he held dear made each feel special. Stan is survived by his wife, Mary Regina “Deanie” Davis (White); sister, Lillian Caudle; and his children, Sherri Taylor (Ken), Alan, Brian, Lilianne Warren (Bob); grandchildren, Stephanie, Angela, Kara, Adam,Adrienne, Rhys, Tina, Samantha, Daniel and Carly; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Andrew, Matthew, Jasmine, Tiana, Kelsey, Morgan, Alex, Teaghan, Madisyn, Nevaeh, Xavier, Bentley, Ziyah, Paizlee; great great-grandchildren, Kyler, Nixon; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Norma Grigg( Rick), and brother-in-law, Eric Caudle. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Roseway Hospital or charity of choice.
