Passed away after a long hard battle with mental illness at his residence on Saturday, March 11, Travas Oates of Carbonear, age 41 years. Predeceased by twin brother: Trent; grandparents: Tom and Molly Oates, Ralph and Mildred Pike. Left to mourn, parents: Bill and Clara, Carbonear; two brothers: Trevor and Todd (Charlene), both of Harbour Grace; niece: Ashley; nephew: James; also a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Wilson Gonese conducted the Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 15 at Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. A private family inurnment to be held at a later date.
