Passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital, Kingston, Ontario, on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 in his 78th year. Cherished father of Heather Barry (Kevin) and Lori Weir (Kendall McMenamon). Proud grandpa of Christian, Hayden and Carlin. Dear brother of Bob Weir (Karen) and Joanne Weir. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Freda Weir (née Dowling), as well as by his step-mother Hilda Shreenan.Ed will be fondly remembered by his neighbours and friends within the Royal Canadian Legion community.
Visitation will be held at GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, Kingston, Ontario (613) 546-5454, on Sunday, March 26th from 1 - 4 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, March 27th at 11 a.m., Rev. Ed Dallow officiating.
