At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, the death occurred of Lorraine Veronica Laybolt of Charlottetown, age 73 years. Born in Cherry Hill, she was a daughter of the late George and Nellie (nee Deveaux) Laybolt. She is survived by her children Christine (Dean) MacAusland, Kenny (Melody) Woolridge, Rosalie Todd, Donna McKeown, Valerie (William) Given, Glenda Pearce and Mark Woolridge; grandchildren Angela (Nav), Lindsay, Dakota, Christian, Jasmine, William, Zachary, Alex, Damien, Shaman, Carston, Samantha and David; great grandchildren Annika, Kian and Isla; brothers Sterling (Valerie), Wilfred (Rita), Willie (Theresa) and Kenny; sisters Elva Kennedy, Shirley Irving and Valerie (Kevin) MacKinnon. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister Judy Cudmore; brothers Leamond, Joe, Basil and John. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. No visiting hours by request. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nursing staff in the CCU, to Dr. MacLean and to the staff of the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, for all of their compassion and care during this difficult time.
