It with great sadness we announce the passing of Lloyd Martin of Old Mill Road (Goobies) on March 27, 2017 at age 72. Predeceased by; father Newman Martin, mother Dorothy Stringer, step-father Walter Stringer, half-brother Hayward Martin, and half-sister Nellie Vardy. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years Vinie Martin; son Kerry (Paula), and daughter Gale (Stephen); granddaughters Shannon (Chris), Dana and Jane; great-grandson Blake; sister Edna (Sam) Parsons; sister-in-law Ethel Blundon and a close circle of other family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be from 12 noon - 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Celebration of life to be held at Fewer's Chapel on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter.
