The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Thursday, April 20, 2017, of Karolyn Elizabeth Burns, of Charlottetown, formerly of Lower Freetown, aged 70 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Edna (Rogers) Burns. Survived by her brothers Donald (Lorna), James (Beth); a sister Janet (David) McCurdy; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Bedeque Baptist Church Cemetery, Central Bedeque.
