Donnie A. MacPhee, age 49 of Braeshore, passed away April 20, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Donnie was born March 29, 1968 in New Glasgow, son of Lorraine (Sharpe) MacDougall and the late Robie MacPhee.
Donnie was a long-time employee at Dean Sharpe’s Service Station and later went on to work at Aecon Shipyard in Pictou.
He is survived by his wife Jessy, children Shyla (P.J.) and Devon, Leo, Daniel (Angela), Jennifer (Greg); mother Lorraine (Kevin) MacDougall; sisters Rhonda (Richard) Dykstra; Linda MacPhee (Jamie); special cousin Vance (Michelle) Sharpe.
Donnie will also be missed by all his furry kids.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 12 noon – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Jennifer MacLean officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
