Carroll, Theodore Robert “Ted”, 81 of New Glasgow passed away May 4, 2017 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Sherbrooke he was a son of the late George and Margaret (Bray) Carroll.
Ted was a resident of New Glasgow since 1970, having previously resided in Toronto. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. During his working years, he was a self employed carpenter. He was a very proud father and grandfather, enjoying hunting and fishing in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary (Druhan), New Glasgow; a daughter Jacqueline (Fred) Fox, New Glasgow; a son Michael (Natalie), Kings Head; 3 grandchildren: Laura Fox, Meghan Fox and Theo Carroll, sisters: Jeanette Rogers, Thorburn; Connie Salter, Stellarton; a brother: Leon (Irene), Toronto; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son Theo, a sister Betty Wadden, brothers-in-law, Frank Rogers, James Wadden and Alex Salter.
Cremation has take place.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Tuesday from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton with Father Barrett Clare-Johnson celebrating. Burial of ashes will take place in the parish cemetery.
No flowers by request.
