Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Marie Bennett (nee Murphy), of Mitchells Brook, St. Mary's Bay, aged 81 years. Predeceased by parents Patrick and Mary Ann Murphy and brother Patrick. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, husband Stan; children: Pamela, Kevin (Darlene), Joan (Bud), Don, Sandra (Doug), Marilyn (Hughie), Eddie (Cindy) and Linda (Bren); 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Bridie; brothers: Bill, Hubert, Tom, Freddie and Charlie; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel, on Saturday, May 20 from 5-9 pm and Sunday, May 21, from 2-9 pm.
