Ada `Nellie` Helena Moore of Moose Jaw passed away peacefully on May 16, 2017 at the age of 84. Nellie was born in Moose Jaw on October 10, 1932 to William and Lila Harrison. Nellie was one of six daughters; Patricia, Wilma, Dorothy, Betty and Margaret. In November of 1953 she married John D. Moore and together they had six children; Anne, Terri, David, Clinton, Clayton and Dawn. Nellie is blessed with eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Nellie and John moved to the west coast in 1966, Washington in 1977, back to Abbotsford in 1982, then to Blackie Alberta in 1995. When John passed away in January of 2009 Nellie then moved to Black Diamond and briefly to Okotoks until she moved back home to Moose Jaw in 2015. In Moose Jaw she lived in Mulberry Estates, Chez Nous and Extendicare. Nellie enjoyed playing slot machines, ocean cruises and collecting, especially carnival glass. In keeping with Nellie’s wishes no services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Stars Ambulance. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Vermaak, Dr. Niaz, Mulberry Estates, Chez Nous, Extendicare and Dianne Munro for their care and compassion.
