KEVIN DONALD MATHESON
It is with heavy hearts that Malcolm and Diane Matheson and family announce the passing of Kevin Donald Matheson on May 7, 2017 at the age of 58. He was the eldest son of Malcolm Matheson and the late Dolena (MacRae) Matheson.
Born in Sydney, August 1958, Kevin spent his childhood in Little Narrows, Port Hastings and Sydney, Kevin was an avid traveler and spent time hiking across Canada seeking the next adventure. He was the favorite Uncle to Christie, Mary, and James whom he lived with on the Queen Charlotte Islands in BC. He finally settled in London, ON where he set down roots and established life–long relationships with his friends from W.O.T.C.H. Kevin thoroughly enjoyed gardening and music, especially the “70’s” genre. He loved to read, Sci-fi was his favorite.
Kevin is survived by his father, Malcolm (Diane) Matheson, Port Hawkesbury; siblings, Barbara (Joe) MacInnis, Sydney, Brenda Matheson, Sydney, Cameron Matheson, Sydney and Lillian (Bob) Street, Florida. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation has taken place.
