Douglas Paul Fewer

It is with great sadness that we the family of Douglas Fewer announce his passing on May 22, 2017. Born in Sydney he was the son of Murray Fewer and the late Rose (Vigneau) Fewer.
Douglas loved playing darts, guitars with his buddies and bowling. He was a Hockey fan and his team the Habs. He enjoyed spending time with Glennie, who he referred to as young blood.
Besides his father Murray, Douglas is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Debbie; son, Douglas (Ashley); one grandson on the way; brother, Glenn; sister, Shelly; sister and brother-in-laws, Piper and Kathy, Elaine and Deacon, Marilyn and Gary, Faye and Sonny, Linda and Chris, Margo and Carmen, and Sherry.
He was predeceased by brother-in-law, David (Sam).
Visitation will be Thursday May 25, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with funeral service Friday, May 26, 2017 at 4 p.m. both from the SW Chant and Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
