It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dr. Edwin Parsons announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on May 24, 2017 at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Myra; son Paul (Renee) in Stephenville; daughter Tammy (Michael) Cousins in Waasis, New Brunswick; his grandchildren Dean Paul, Madison, Ethan, Mya and Nelson and his great-grandchild Sophia. Also leaving to mourn his brothers Charles Parsons, Bob Parsons and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Winnifred and Bertrum Parsons; his brothers Bill Parsons, Fred Parsons; sisters Carrie Cotter and Marion Walbourne. Visitation will take place at Russell's Funeral Home in Stephenville on Sunday, May 28, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday, May 29, at 2 p.m. from Russell's Chapel. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation in Edwin's memory.
