Passed peacefully away at Palliative Care with her family by her side, Yvonne (Bonnie) Stone (nee Holwell) aged 72. Left to remember her beautiful spirit are her husband of 50 years John, her son Jamie and his wife Lynn, and her "Precious Stones" grandsons Cody and Connor. Also, her step-daughter Brenda Hickey, granddaughter Melissa Pelley (Blair), grandson Brent and great-grand-daughter Marin. Also left to remember her with a lifetime of wonderful memories, her sisters Doreen Coady and Dianne O'Mara, brothers Gerald Holwell (Barbara), Wayne Holwell (Daisy) and sister-in-law Anne Holwell, special cousin Eileen St Croix (Lloyd White), cherished nieces Pamela Vokey and Cathy Dornan and their families, John's family: Tom (Claudia), Ronald (Audrey), Gerald (Brenda), Wayne (Dixie), Jean Cole, Elizabeth Walters and Deborah Duffett (Mike), sister-in-law Collette, as well as many special nieces, nephews, relatives and devoted friends. A special thank you to caregivers Bonnie Seymore and Amanda Warren for their dedication, professionalism, and gentle caring support. The family is very grateful for the care Bonnie received from Dr. Anna Smith, Dr. Teri Stuckless, and the Miller Centre Rehabilitation and Palliative teams. Bonnie was a kind and gentle lady who loved her family deeply. She created lasting traditions and memories for her grandchildren Cody and Connor. She was a beautiful writer and her stories and poems will be forever treasured by her family. Bonnie spent many years volunteering at Chancellor Park and The Miller Centre and loved her time with the residents. Bonnie had great faith and took comfort in prayer and reflection. She accepted her recent illness with grace, dignity and courage. The family will receive visitors at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday, May, 28th at 12-9 pm. Funeral Mass to be held on Monday, May 29th at 10 am at Mary Queen of Peace Church. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
