(nee Quinton) Passed peacefully away at her late residence, Bay Roberts on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, Mrs. Bertha Mercer (nee Quinton), aged 86 years. Predeceased by sisters: Mary (Gordon) Greene and Emmie (Arthur) Boone. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her loving husband Roy; sons: Gerald (Carmen), Leland (Joan); daughters: Marjorie, Jean (Tim Bartlett); three grandchildren: Craig (Kerry Lynn), Trevor (Janet), Katie; two great-grandchildren: Morgan, Keira; brother Cyril (Flo) Quinton; also nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, neighbours and special family friends - Merle Mercer, Ruth Mercer and Lulu Sparkes. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Thursday 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Bay Roberts. Interment in the St. Matthew's Anglican Cemetery, Bay Roberts.
